From Hands-On Work to a Teachable System
Tim spent years learning vehicle reconditioning and resale the hard way — through trial, error, and a lot of expensive mistakes. There was no clear playbook. Every part of the process, from reading an auction listing to handling repairs to presenting a finished vehicle, had to be figured out from scratch.
Over time, he turned that experience into something repeatable: a structured set of checklists, research methods, and repair processes that removed the guesswork. People kept asking how he did it — so he built BackYardBoyz to teach the skill in an organized, beginner-friendly way, backed by ongoing coaching instead of leaving students to fend for themselves.
BackYardBoyz is an education and coaching company. We don't sell vehicles, place anyone in a job, or promise income. What we offer is training: a clear curriculum, practical checklists, repair instruction, and a community of people learning the same craft.
